Shubham Agrawal
Shubham is an HCPC & RCI licensed Prosthetist and Orthotist, as well as member of professional associations like ISPO, BAPO, OPAI. He completed his graduation in Prosthetics and Orthotics from the University of Delhi, in 2019 and has worked with prestigious organizations like Endolite and Ottobock. His passion to solve for the accessibility and quality of multi-articulated hands in the Indian market led him to join Aether Biomedical, where he played a crucial role in kick-starting its Indian Operations, commercializing and scaling its flagship offering, ‘The Zeus Bionic Hand.’
During this endeavour, he recognized the need for clinical research to bridge the gap between users, prosthetists, and engineering R&D teams. To further enhance his understanding of research fundamentals, he has been pursuing an MSc. Prosthetics and Orthotics Rehabilitation Studies at the University of Strathclyde, UK, and is currently working on a review project on ‘Sensorimotor advances in Upper limb Prosthetics.’
Shubham’s commitment to continuous learning and his ability to establish strong connections in his network have made him a sought-after resource speaker at various National Institute and CPD programs. He has also conducted workshops and training sessions on multi-articulated prosthetic hands for prosthetists and students nationwide.
Furthermore, Shubham’s desire for interdisciplinary learning and a philanthropic mindset led to his selection for GGI’s MBA Scholar program, where he earned expertise in management consulting. At COVVI, he is focused on leveraging his diverse skill set, thought leadership, and innovative mindset to make a global impact by improving accessibility and offering more diversified and acceptable prosthetic solutions through an industry-wide collaborative approach.
