Sean McHugh Joins The COVVI US Team
We are delighted to be welcoming Sean McHugh to our USA Team as our Business Development Director! His path to COVVI begun with the traumatic loss of his right hand and wrist in a 2002 construction accident, and soon became frustrated with the inadequacy of the prosthetic devices available to him. He took huge interest in the R&D of new upper limb prosthetic devices, which led to a role within patient modelling and eventually to sales opportunities.
His working days began as a Quartermaster (QM2ss) on a US Navy submarine, after that experience it was on to Lutron Electronics where he became a supply chain specialist and attained a certification in purchasing and inventory management (CPIM) at Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. His next post, at Atlantic Integrated, helped polish his sales and customer relations skills.
Sean has been in consultation with the engineers at COVVI since the very beginning. He is over-the-moon excited to show you our new hand and how easy it is to set up and use. Most importantly, he loves being part of the delivery of devices that change the lives of other amputees like himself. 🦾
