Ted Ventures To AOPA
Now that ‘COVVI’ is up and running with an identity and associated brand, it is now important that we get out name out there and make ourselves known to the biggest prosthetics professionals from all over the world. For our technical director Ted Varley, it has been a chance to catch up with old friends, peers and like-minded professionals within the industry. He took himself off to AOPA in Vancouver on the 26th of September where he could get plenty of networking in but also enjoy a full program of talks, workshops and exhibitions on subjects he is deeply passionate about; prosthetics, design, and making a difference within the healthcare sector.
Armed with 250 business cards, quick wit and a friendly smile, Ted made his way around the exhibition floor to let people know that COVVI is now born and has been very quickly making ground, certain to rock the boat within the prosthetic industry in a way not experienced before. Having made sure that he stressed the ways in which COVVI intends to go above and beyond the current market-leading offerings, we hope that Ted has made a lasting impression on the clinicians, exhibitors and fellow engineers in attendance. Of course, a lot of people recognized him from his previous ventures within prosthetics but attending AOPA has really allowed him to put his head above the parapet as a highly-respected and leading design engineer.
