Additional COVVI Hand Features
Passively Flexing Fingers & Thumb
All the fingers and thumb have passive flex with a spring-loaded feature, which provides impact protection, reducing the likelihood of damages and repairs as the hand flexes out of the way.
Actuators
All five actuators are in the base of the palm, where they are protected by the hand chassis. This means that they are less likely to be damaged and the weight of the hand is more proximal, and therefore better distributed, allowing users to have better overall control of their prosthesis.
Auto Relax
The hand will automatically open to a resting position when programmed, which gives it a much more natural look and use in social situations.
Auto Grip
When Auto Grip is enabled, if the hand senses an object is slipping it reapplies a small continuous force to grasp the object, ensuring safe and risk-free object handling.
USB-C Charging
Allows you to charge your hand on the go!
IP44 Waterproof Rating
The COVVI Hand has been tested and certified with an IP44 rating, which ensures that the hand is protected against solids and water larger than 1mm, as well as sprays and splashes from all directions.
Compatibility
COVVI hand is compatible with other products that you may need in your limb build or want to enhance your prosthetic experience, such as prosthetic elbows, wrist rotators and pattern recognition systems.
