Hand Grip Replacement (HB-Grip-30)
The Free Lock Hand Grip Replacement (HB-Grip-30) is supplied as standard with every Free Lock System. This will be used to replace the existing grip on most bicycles or motorcycles, but it is susceptible to wear and tear after sustained use. As this component will need to be replaced every few years, we offer users and clinicians the opportunity to order a replacement hand grip, so the Free Lock can continue to be used without issue.
The grip offers three compartments to attach the Free Lock to, and these are separated by special PU O-Rings. The inner diameter of this grip is 22.5mm, and it is attached to the handlebars by means of three M6 Allen bolts.
The grip fits on almost all bicycle and motorcycle handlebars, and no holes need to be drilled in the handlebars themselves. A complete replacement set consists of a POM-plastic base, two PU separation rings, three M6 locking bolts and an end cap with the Free Lock logo on.

Road Bike Grip (RB-Grip-30)
The Free Lock Road Bike Grip (RB-Grip-30) is a clamping system that is designed to work with the Free Lock hand grip when riding a road racing bike. It can be mounted to the side of the handlebar, and the clamp unit is made of high-grade aluminium, which makes for a robust combination of maximum strength with a low weight.
The hand grip itself is made from a POM-plastic with specific parameters to make the Free Lock System function optimally. The complete set consists of two aluminium clamp parts with the Free Lock logo on, as well as two M6 and a POM-plastic grip, with an M8 bolt to fit it to the clamp.
Just like the HB-Grip-30 component that comes as standard, this Road Bike Grip does not require any drilling into the handlebar of the racing bike.
