COVVI Champions Limb Loss and Limb Difference Awareness Month

April is Limb Loss and Limb Difference Awareness Month- a time to champion all those who are a part of this incredible community. Throughout the month, COVVI will be highlighting some of our incredible users and sharing their stories.
We pride ourselves on working alongside people with lived experience from all over the world to build prosthetics that really make a difference in the lives of the people who use them. From COVVI’s inception, people from the limb difference community have supported the testing and building of new products. Their feedback and insight have been a valuable part of both the design and continued development of prosthetic technology.
COVVI CEO, Simon Pollard, said: “We have a lot to thank the limb difference community for; they have been integral to ensuring that our prosthetics can achieve the necessary movements for tackling those day-to-day activities. This month, we want to take some time to celebrate those individuals who have supported us in changing lives all over the world, and highlight the importance of increasing access to the advanced prosthetics that truly do make a difference to people’s lives.”
To support COVVI’s mission to support more people than ever before, we have introduced two new shorter, lighter versions of our bionic hand to our portfolio. You can find out more through our COVVI Collection page:
