COVVI Hand and Components Receive New L-Codes For US Market

Following successful registration through PDAC, COVVI have now received updated L-Codes that our prosthetic products are now eligible for.
By ensuring that the COVVI Hand and its associated components are registered to all of the L-Codes that they are eligible for, clinicians within the US can now more easily work alongside insurance companies to fully support prosthetic users.
Though the COVVI Hand and glove kit were previously registered for a number of L-Codes, this is the first time that both COVVI’s battery kit and charger have also received coding through PDAC. The new shorter versions of the COVVI Hand (COVVI Hand: Friction Wrist, and COVVI Hand: Straight Wrist) have now also received L-Codes for their upcoming availability within the US market.
COVVI CEO, Simon Pollard, said: “This is another way that our team is pushing for more support, both for clinicians and patients, within the US. We believe that it should be a simple process to gain access to prosthetics, and ensuring our products are registered for all of the correct L-Codes makes that process considerably easier.”
