COVVI Launches Servicing & Repairs Facilities For Bionic Hands Within The US
Moving to new offices in San Antonio earlier this year, COVVI is excited to announce that servicing and repairs facilities are now up and running in the US – drastically reducing lead times for users and clinicians within the Americas.
This additional service adds to COVVI’s existing loaner hand programme for clinicians and prosthetic users in the US. Working closely alongside the Customer Service team at COVVI’s UK HQ, the programme provides fast access to those who would like to trial the multi-articulated system across America.
Based in San Antonio since 2018, COVVI’s US branch has announced this growth in operations with the express purpose of providing an increase in direct support for our users and clinicians around the world.
Simon Pollard, COVVI CEO, said, “We really want to amplify the level of service that we can provide for our many users across the US. COVVI’s team can give confidence to those looking to trial our bionic hand that we will be able to fulfil their requests quickly and with care.”
COVVI is registered with the FDA and is in receipt of both ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 quality certifications, allowing us to service our prosthetics in the US to the highest possible standards.
COVVI’s US Office Manager, Lynn Whitehead, said: “We are thrilled to be expanding our team in the US. The ability to process requests for services and repairs in-house means that we will be able to get our advanced prosthetics back to their users quickly and without hassle.”
