COVVI Showcases Innovative Technology To International Robotics Leaders

Exhibiting their futuristic robotic hand, the COVVI team joined leading innovators from across the robotics industry in Atlanta for the IEEE’s International Conference for Robotics and Automation (ICRA).
For the last five years, COVVI has supported those with limb differences on a global scale with our advanced upper limb prosthetics. With users around the world providing consistent feedback to our team about how they use their hand/s to complete complex tasks, the COVVI Robotic Hand takes this innovation and applies it to industry and research environments.
Since attending the conference in 2023, the COVVI Robotic Hand was officially launched in January. Demonstrated at the event in a variety of applications, the robotic hand offers unparalleled precision and control, making it an ideal solution for research into robotics, biomechanics, and human-robot interaction.
Bringing together global companies and research trailblazers, ICRA facilitated a space to exchange knowledge and demonstrate the latest in robotics. From humanoids, to haptic technology, and even a robot DJ- the event was a true showcase in the latest creations within the field.
Simon Pollard, CEO at COVVI said: “It was fantastic to be back at ICRA this year. We met with so many fantastic innovators from around the world and had the chance to really showcase the work that we are doing here at COVVI to advance the robotics field. Our partners at SenseGlove were able to showcase some of the real-world utility of our product, and we also shared how our hand works alongside collaborative robots like the Kinova Arm.”
“We know that our device has the ability to upgrade so many robotics setups, so it was vital for us to be able to share this on a global scale. We’re excited to see how we can continue to grow and establish ourselves as leaders within the industry.”
