COVVI Welcomes Jaco Van Gass As Our Newest Advocate

We are both honoured and thrilled to have the inspiring Jaco Van Gass join us as a patient advocate and start his journey to be fitted with a COVVI Hand.
Jaco hasn’t worn a multi-articulated hand for over a decade, but his interest was piqued when he was formally introduced to the COVVI Hand. He was drawn to the aesthetics, technology, functionality and was impressed as to how far COVVI had developed the technology and software that powers the device.
He most recently competed in the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games and became a double Paralympic Champion and a three-times World Record holder, on top of becoming a Triple World Champion in Track Cycling just a few months prior. Last month Jaco was honoured with an MBE for his incredible contribution to cycling and achievement in sports for Britain.
Jaco is one motivational individual and we’re eager to see how his COVVI Hand aids him in what he takes on next.
