Intuitive Updates for COVVI Go App and Clinical Web Portal Launched

Major updates to the COVVI Go App and Web Portal have launched today on both iOS and Android, meaning that prosthetic users and clinicians can expect a more intuitive experience when personalising the COVVI Hand to exact requirements.
With an updated user interface for a smoother experience when navigating, updates to the 3.0.2 version of the COVVI Go App include:
- NEW: With a simplified user grip selection process, grips can be swapped out of tables and rearranged with a simple swipe.
- NEW: The option to save configurations from anywhere within the app.
- NEW: Information icons to provide explanations for certain features and options.
- NEW: Landscape mode is now available throughout the app.
- NEW: Simplified connections, once logged in, the app will now automatically start scanning for your COVVI Hand.
- Improved Layout: Grip Tables and other more commonly used screens are now higher in the menu, with updated easy navigation.
- Improved methods to overwrite and update existing configurations when saving a config.
COVVI CEO, Simon Pollard, said, “Our team has been working hard behind the scenes to make changes to our app that will enhance the experiences of both our users and clinicians, when navigating the many personalisation options available to them. We want to make it as easy as possible for the people who use our bionic hand to access all the unique features that we have designed.”
It is not just the companion app that has undergone a transformation; COVVI clinicians and distributors will also experience changes to the COVVI Portal. These include:
- General design updates for a smoother navigation experience.
- Quick and easy ways to save configurations.
- NEW: Clinicians can now view all their registered users in one place.
- NEW: Distributors can now view all their registered clinicians in one place, as well as their associated users.
- NEW: Clinicians can manage their users’ hands whilst offline, allowing the changes made to be downloaded at a later date.
- NEW: The option to switch between a light and dark mode.
