COVVI’s Newest Advocate Walks Milan Fashion Week with Bionic Hand
Anna Fusco walked in The Womderfully Inclusive Fashion Show of Benetta de Luca earlier this week, wearing her COVVI prosthetic.
The show, hosted by lifestyle and content brand ‘The WOM’, consisted of 15 models, unique dresses, and a vision that sought to ‘celebrate beauty without labels’.
Conceived by Benedetta De Luca, Gender & Inclusion editor of The Wom and Disability Advocate, the show was created with the intent of giving visibility to all uniqueness, reiterating the value of a fashions ability to welcome everybody and every story.
Attended by a host of fashion experts, influential personas and media outlets, the show caught the attention of national news coverage, amplifying its message of inclusivity.
Anna said about her time at Milan Fashion Week: “The Wonderfully Inclusive Fashion Show was so exciting, I had the opportunity to meet wonderful women with unique and special stories. Let’s wait for the doors to open for every woman with different and beautiful features, like my wonderful COVVI prosthesis.”
Anna joined the COVVI advocate line-up at the beginning of February 2025, having been a user of the COVVI Hand since 2022. Since being fitted with her prosthetic, Anna has focused on her vibrant modelling career, taking part in advertising campaigns and fashion showcases for brands across Italy, with this being one of the many shows she has been a part of.
COVVI CEO, Simon Pollard, said: “Inclusivity is at the heart of COVVI, and to see one of our incredible advocates, walk in such a beautiful show that seeks to highlight one of our core values is wholly heartening. Anna is a force for empowerment, and we are so pleased to have supported her with her prosthetic journey, and will continue to do so for years to come.”
