COVVI Nominated For ‘Technology Innovator of the Year’ Award

The Innovation Awards have recognised and celebrated businesses and individuals who are dedicated to pioneering work within the UK for the last five years.
This year, COVVI has been nominated for the ‘Technology Innovator of the Year’ award. Coming at a time when COVVI has released a number of new prosthetic devices, this nomination is a testament to the level of design engineering behind each new launch.
With two shorter and lighter versions of COVVI’s advanced bionic hand released earlier in the year, and the upcoming COVVI Touch sensory feedback device, the team have been working harder than ever to develop devices to enhance the lives of people with upper-limb differences around the world. Hundreds of people around the world use COVVI devices to make everyday tasks and activities easier, and with consistent developments, the companies offering to clinical staff and users only continue to grow.
COVVI CEO, Simon Pollard, said: “The past year has been transformative for COVVI. Not only have we been focused on the release of new and upcoming products, but we have also dedicated a vast amount of time and energy to ensuring that the original COVVI Hand is consistently updated with the latest in bionic technology.
“COVVI is dedicated to developing innovative bionic designs, and we are pleased to be recognised for this on a national stage.”
