COVVI Recognised for Technological Innovations at Prestigious Awards

Last week, COVVI were commended for the impact of their flagship bionic hand, being dubbed the ‘One to Watch’ for 2026 at the Medilink Awards.
Celebrating Medilink’s 30th Anniversary, professionals from across the medical community gathered at Cutlers Hall in the heart of Sheffield for the event in celebration of innovation within the sector.
Earlier this year, COVVI were shortlisted for the One to Watch award as a ‘business that shows a great deal of potential, that we should all be keeping an eye out for in the future’.
Accepting the award, COVVI were applauded for developing strong, robust, and personalised bionic hands. The honour comes as COVVI announces a number of new products launching over the next twelve months to further enhance the opportunities and technology available to people with limb differences.
COVVI’s Engineering Manager, Carmen Tinning, said: “We are honoured to have received the One to Watch award, recognising the real-world impact that COVVI’s bionic technology is having. Last year, we celebrated fitting more people than ever before with our bionic hands, increasing the availability of our prosthetics on a global scale.
Now, we look to a future where prosthetic users can operate even more personalised devices that heighten their experience with the technology for daily tasks and activities. In January, we announced two new shorter, lighter variants of our bionic hand – the first of a number of new products from COVVI this year.”
Earlier this year, COVVI were also announced as the winner of Best Healthcare Solution for Prosthetics from Global Tech Insider.
