COVVI Showcases World Leading Prosthetics And Robotics Technology At FII8
This October, COVVI was invited to demonstrate our innovative technology with global leaders and entrepreneurs in health at the FII8 in Saudi Arabia. A core group of the COVVI team attended the showcase to share how the COVVI Hand continues to push the boundaries of what is possible.
FII8 served as a place to share innovative ideas- and brought together global and political leaders alongside key decision-makers in finance, AI, sustainability, education, energy, geoeconomics, and beyond.
Hosted by the Future Investment Initiative Institute, this year’s event focused on the theme of ‘Infinite Horizons: Investing Today, Shaping Tomorrow’. The conference encouraged attendees to explore unconventional ways of thinking, and take up opportunities that can bridge current challenges with future possibilities. COVVI shared how we continue to push towards our core aim to change multiple lives forever, which is helped to be made possible through our ongoing sustainability initiatives.
COVVI CEO, Simon Pollard, reflected on his time at FII8: “This past year has been a very exciting time for COVVI, so to be able to share some of the leaps we have made with a similarly enthusiastic group of innovators is thrilling. We know that the work being done at COVVI improves so many lives, so receiving recognition from the wider community of health leaders supports us in continuing to make a real-world impact.”
The COVVI team were also joined by advocate Sarah de Lagarde, who spoke with conference attendees about her journey, and provided demonstrated how she uses her hand in day-to-day life.
Shubham Agrawal, Director of Clinical Operations at COVVI, said: “It was an honour to share insights and demonstrate our prosthetics technology alongside international thought leaders, discussing the intersection of technology, AI, and human well-being. COVVI was conceived to change many lives by working together – and FII8 has been the perfect stage to share COVVI’s values that leave a compounding impact on our users.”
FII8 is one of a number of events COVVI has attended in 2024, key members of the team also attended OTWorld earlier this year. Read more: www.covvi.com/news/the-covvi-team-showcases-new-tech-at-otworld-2024
