COVVI UK Expands Its Production Facilities
COVVI has seen a lot of success recently in the shape of several award wins and nominations, international press coverage stemming from our Reuters interview and securing funding for multi-articulated hands through NHS England. Due to these achievements, business is better than ever and so the UK headquarters required a slight upgrade.
Lately, we’ve undertaken the substantial task of expanding our production area in order to give our dedicated team the space to increase the number of hands they’re able to build and repair on a daily basis, in order to keep up with the growing demand that we’re expecting will only continue to increase.
This expansion gives us the opportunity to create a larger stockpile of devices that are ready and waiting to go out the same day an order is placed. Simon Pollard, CEO of COVVI commented, “We have set a goal and look to be producing 100 hands a month by December 2023.” This target has resulted in the Software Team increasing to four members, and a further five openings across the business over the coming 12 months.
We’re extremely excited about this next milestone in our journey. Our aim has always been to grow and expand output to as many users on a global scale as possible, ensuring our distribution partners can easily order the world’s leading bionic hand without delay; this project is a big step towards that happening.
Simon had this to say about COVVI’s fantastic recent growth, “It’s an exciting time for COVVI, we continue to increase our market share and have established multiple new relationships which will, in turn, produce new revenue streams giving us the opportunity to offer a diverse range of products and help us serve our key strategic clients.”
