New Games And COVVI Touch Functionality In COVVI Go App Update

Huge updates to support bionic hand users and clinicians have launched through the COVVI Go App today on both iOS and Android.
Three new training games support COVVI Hand users to build confidence and strength in the signals they send to open and close their bionic hand. From a classic platformer to fishing, and even a game of pong that can be played against other users anywhere in the world, the training games offer a fun way to more accurately control your bionic device.
That’s not all, though. Within the 3.1.0 version of the COVVI Go App, both users and clinicians will have further tools to manage their COVVI Hand. From personalising the newly announced COVVI Touch system to your needs, to a breakdown of your most used grips and triggers, COVVI users have more control over their bionic hand than ever before.
COVVI CEO, Simon Pollard, said, “With the announcement of COVVI Touch earlier this month, we want to continue the expansion of tools that our users can access to use their hands to their fullest extent. Creating adaptive games and providing further user management systems, means that people who use the COVVI Hand have more overall control.
“At COVVI, we want to make it as easy as possible for people to get the most out of their prosthetic, and this update is just one of the ways we are supporting that.”
The new update also allows the emailing of a user’s input graphs, easing the flow of communication between the user and the clinician.
