Teenage Amputee Becomes First COVVI User In South Carolina

Our partners over at Hanger Clinic recently shared the story of 17-year-old Jonathon Lockhart, who tragically lost his left arm in a car accident in 2020. He has recently completed his recovery procedure and became the first person in South Carolina to be fitted with the Whizzlink arm from Glaze Prosthetics and the COVVI Hand.
Jonathon has a very active lifestyle and aspires to enter into law enforcement after completing high school. His determination has been truly inspiring, especially at such a young age, and through this global collaboration of technology; it has shown us that anything is possible.
We’re eager to see what this young man will achieve with a little bit of help from COVVI.
