Advocates Join The COVVI Team At Leading Prosthetics Event, AOPA 2024
Key members of the COVVI team, travelled to AOPA’s Ignite24 event in Charlotte, North Carolina this September to showcase the COVVI Hand’s impressive technology.
AOPA serves as an annual informative, inspiring, and impactful event that brings together orthotic and prosthetic professionals from across America. This year’s event included talks and sessions from leaders in the field, as well as opportunities to engage with clinicians from around the country. Attendees also spent time learning about the latest technologies and services, of which COVVI is at the forefront.
COVVI’s CEO, Simon Pollard; Director of Clinical Operations, Shubham Agrawal; and Global Distribution Manager, Emily Wilson were joined at the event by COVVI advocates Amber Ayala and Stephen Lowry. The COVVI advocates spent time with attendees demonstrating how they use the COVVI Hand in their day-to-day life, as well as challenging passersby to a friendly game of Jenga.
Amber reflected on the event, saying: “Life’s surprises always have a way of making the best moments, and meeting the Covvi team at AOPA, was no exception. After years of their support, spending time with them in person was both meaningful and rewarding. The knowledge I gained in such a short time was invaluable, and the experience is truly unforgettable. I can’t wait for more opportunities to meet, learn, and share moments with this incredible team again.”
COVVI CEO, Simon Pollard, said: “Returning to AOPA after a year of leaps and strides for COVVI is opportune to show the progress that we have made and continue to make, as well as being able to showcase the iconic COVVI Hand. Being joined by two of our fantastic advocates only made for an even more exciting experience. We can’t wait to be back, by which time I am certain that COVVI will have come even further in the realm of technological innovation.”
AOPA was one of a number of events COVVI has attended in 2024, members of the team also headed to Arab Health earlier this year. Read more: www.covvi.com/news/covvi-showcases-prosthetic-technology-at-arab-health-2024
