Amelia Celebrates Promotion To Servicing And Repairs Manager
COVVI are pleased to announce that Amelia Korko has been promoted to the brand new role of Servicing and Repairs Manager. After joining the business in November 2023 as a COVVI Technician, she has proven to be a tremendously skilled member of the Production Team; learning a considerable amount about repairing hands in such a short amount of time and developing a solid plan to drive the department forward in a way to support the on-going growth of the business.
Amelia graduated with a first-class honour Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2022, which was driven by a deep fascination with prosthetics. Her dedication to the field led her to refine her skills in manufacturing prosthetic sockets at Steeper following her graduation; gaining invaluable experience in a clinical environment.
Joining the COVVI team signified a thrilling new chapter for Amelia. So far, it has allowed her to channel her expertise into the company’s innovative strides. Her enthusiasm for the job also mirrors her ambition to revolutionise the prosthetics industry.
The role of Servicing and Repairs Manager within the company will ensure a smooth, controlled department that can complete customer repairs promptly and effectively. The company’s mission of helping those with limb differences is always at the forefront of everything that COVVI does, and this change is a massive step forward to achieving that goal.
