COVVI Heads To Mexico For ISPO Conference 2023
COVVI CEO Simon Pollard and Global Distribution Manger Emily Wilson will be heading to Guadalajara in Mexico to attend the 19th ISPO World Congress. Every two years, the International Society for Prosthetics & Orthotics (ISPO) invites professionals to this flagship meeting where they will learn about the latest scientific and clinical advances, products, innovative technologies, designs and materials in prosthetic and orthotic care.
The theme for this event is ‘The Art and The Science’, which brings together two very important aspects of prosthetics, orthotic and mobility care. ‘The Art’ highlights the elite craftsmanship that is employed when creating products for patients; incorporating the user’s personality in order to make the assistive device more than just a piece of technology. ‘The Science’ refers to the innovation, evidence and knowledge translation across the industry to enable end users to receive the right services at the right time and at the right cost.
The event will be full of renowned international speakers and will allow companies from all over the world to present the latest and greatest products and innovations in the market. As the week develops, it will be a great opportunity to showcase COVVI to companies and clinicians from the region. The COVVI Hand has received some incredible feedback from previous exhibitions, and we’re excited to see what developments will come from this trip!
