COVVI’s Bionic Hand Is Now Available For Purchase In Switzerland

Since its inception, COVVI’s core vision has been to provide as many people as possible globally with advanced prosthetics. To support this goal, the COVVI team have been making a constant effort to expand the reach of upper-limb bionics in new territories. Now, COVVI are pleased to announce that their bionic hands are available to those with upper-limb differences in Switzerland.
COVVI’s Clinical Services Director, Shubham Agrawal, travelled to SAHB Oensingen in Switzerland last week to present the myo-electric technology to a group of leading upper-limb prosthetists and medical reimbursement authorities from across the region.
Within the two-day workshop, attendees were given the opportunity to learn about the COVVI Hand’s unique features for upper-limb amputees. This included an in-depth introduction to COVVI’s innovative product range, a physical display of the upcoming COVVI Wrist Suite, and valuable insight into the company’s portfolio.
Prosthetists were also taken through a series of training in order to become COVVI certified, giving them the tools to fit and support bionic hand users in the future. The training highlighted the COVVI Hand’s advanced personalisation capabilities, demonstrating how it can be tailored to meet the evolving needs of prosthetic users. The training also included insights into the current prosthetic landscape, outlining COVVI’s unique positioning to address the needs of a broad and diverse range of users.
Attendees were also taken through the capabilities of the COVVI Go App and clinical portal. These are two key assets designed and developed in order to give both users and prosthetists more intuitive control over the advanced bionic prosthesis.
Clinical Services Director, Shubham Agrawal, said: “We are so pleased to be bringing the COVVI Hand to Switzerland and want to provide all of our clinical partners with the knowledge they need to get the best possible outcome for each and every user. This training session is just one of many efforts the COVVI team are making over the next year to work closer with clinicians around the world, providing guidance, support and training.”
